... growing an eclectic range of choice plants

Welcome!

We are a deliberately small nursery in Southeastern New England actively collecting, propagating, and growing a diverse range of plants. We focus on the under-cultivated and garden worthy, and specialize in unusual perennials.

A PDF list of plants we expect to have available in sufficient number for 2010 may be accessed by using the link to the left. To open this file you will need the Adobe Acrobat reader, which is free, and available here, if needed. As new plants are always coming on and along, many other, unlisted, plants are generally available at the nursery.

We are open strictly by appointment, but will be participating in a few regional plant sales in 2010: Trade Secrets in Connecticut, a Great Dixter fundraiser at Sakonnet in Rhode Island, the North Hill Symposium in Vermont, and a Garden Conservancy study weekend event at Hollister House, also in Connecticut, and will be more than happy to bring along specific plants if so requested.

We are aiming to offer a limited mail order availability, and are trying to sort out the bureaucratic complexities, not to mention the different growing schedules. Please stay tuned....

Please understand that such is the nature of plants that it is impossible to have all plants available all the time. If you have questions about specific plant availability, please contact us - we are always happy to field any inquiries.

We employ strictly organic pest controls, and are still striving to be peat free...
